It's hot in the sun, cold in the shade and chilly when the breeze blows. What can you do to protect yourself from these unpredictable temperature fluctuations that can wreak havoc on your body? Get your Seasonal Tune-Up! Seasonal tune-ups are acupuncture treatments that work to help build what we call in Asian Medicine as your Wei Chi.

The Wei Chi is the protective energy that surrounds and flows throughout your body. It is akin to a window screen that keeps out bees, wasps, mosquitos and other unwanted insects. The Wei Chi helps keep your system strong and protected against any bad guys from, quite literally, getting under your skin. Asian Medicine refers to these germs and illnesses more dramtically as the external pernicious evils!

A very simplified explanation is that the Wei Chi is similar to your immune system. When your Wei Chi is flowing properly and your immune system is at its strongest, it has the best chance of shielding off any external pernicious evils that may be headed your way.

With recent climate fluctuations, Springtime temperature levels can reach record highs too early spring when our bodies aren't acclimated yet. This followed by days of damp cold, can weaken your Wei Chi making you more susceptable to those bugs invading your body.

Keep feeling your best! Whether it is allergies, a common cold or a pernicious evil, you don't want it. If you haven't had a treatment in a while, consider coming in for your Seasonal tune-up to help you stay healthy throughout the seasons.
